Which massage to choose
Hot stones for fatigue, deep tissue for knots, Nirvana Relaxing for stress: a short guide.
Your body warns you long before it hurts. The problem is that we almost never pay attention: we stay in front of the screen, clench our jaws, and let our shoulders creep up to our ears. These are the five signs we see most often in the treatment room.
Don't wait for your back to lock up: the best massage is the one that comes before the pain.
1. Headache at the end of the day
Tension headaches usually begin in the neck and at the base of the skull. A thirty-minute head massage, once a week, noticeably reduces their frequency.
2. You wake up more tired than when you went to bed
A tense muscle does not rest. Relaxing massage lowers the heart rate and prepares the body for deeper sleep.

3. Shoulders up, shallow breathing
If you drop your shoulders and take a deep breath as you read this, you already have your answer. The guided breathing at the start of each session helps release that posture.
4. Clenched jaw
Bruxism and jaw tension respond very well to facial and neck massage. Tell your therapist so they can work on the area.
5. It has been over a month since you gave yourself an hour
Sometimes the sign is simply that. An hour without your phone is also health.
